GATE 2020 Online/Offline Examination conducted for 22 papers. The examination for all the papers was conducted in Forenoon & Afternoon sessions spread over 2 weekends, starting from January, February, 2020. The GATE 2020 examination was conducted in over 660 centres spread over 26 states and union territories of the country.

A total of 9, 28,543 candidates have registered for GATE 2020. For 6,52,704 Male Candidates and 2,75,699 Female Candidates were appeared.

GATE 2020 Score Card :
GATE 2020 score is valid for Three Years from the date () of announcement of the results.
Candidates those who all appeared for the GATE 2020 they are advised After the declaration of the results, candidates can download their GATE 2020 Score Card for the paper (for which he/she has taken the examination). Downloadable score cards will be available to only those candidates whose marks are equal to or above the qualifying marks of SC/ST/PwD candidates in that paper.
The GATE 2020 score cards can be downloaded between March 2020 to May 2020 and for that the candidate should access the zonal websites from where he/she has taken the GATE 2020 examination.
In case any candidate requires the soft copy of his/her GATE Score Card after May 2020 till December 2020 , then they can do so by sending a demand draft of 500 (five hundred only) in the name of Chairman GATE, payable at Kanpur and send to GATE Office, IIT Kanpur.
Admission on IIT , NIT 2020
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) jointly administer the conduct of GATE. Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is the Organizing Institute for GATE 2020.
The candidates need to apply separately to each of the IITs, IISc, NITs and other institutes/universities to seek admission to various post-graduate and doctoral programmes. The candidates have to visit the websites of the respective institutes/universities for details regarding the admission.
