AFCAT 01 is the test which will conduct for the Commissioned Officers in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty in the Indian Air Force. This exam was conducting the course for the academic year 2017 from July. Indian Air Force is going to conduct the AFCAT and EKT (applicable for Technical Branch) examination on 21st February 2019 Sunday at various exam centres. Candidates start preparing for the exam and discuss the related topics with your neighbours.

AFCAT Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern 2019

AFCAT & EKT (Only technical branch), Candidates who are shortlisted will be called for further testing at Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs), EKT exam would be in 45 minutes on subject they have applied

Stage-I: Intelligence Test & Document verification

Stage-II: Psychological Test, Group Tests and Interview

Stage-III: CPSS and or PABT (only for flying branch)

AFCAT question paper will conduct for 100 Marks. Each question carries 3 marks i.e. for 300 Marks. Negative marks allotted for the each wrong answer. For every wrong answer 1/3rd mark will be deducted. i.e. 1 Mark. The exam paper consists of 5 sections namely,

  • Verbal Ability
  • Numerical Ability
  • Reasoning
  • General Awareness
  • Military Ability

General Awareness: History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics, Civics, Basic Sciences, Defence, Art etc

Numerical Ability: Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, and Simple Interest, Profit & Loss
